- We strongly recommend renting a car - it’s the easiest way to reach the venue and to explore Tuscany.
- Driving from Florence to Montestigliano takes about 1 hour and is simple.
Flying to Italy
The closest and most convenient airport is Florence Airport (FLR).
- From the US: There are usually no direct flights to Florence. The easiest connections are via major European cities, such as Rome or Frankfurt.
- From Israel: There are often direct or one-stop flights to Rome (FCO). From Rome, you can connect onward to Florence by a short flight, train, or car.
If Florence flights are limited or expensive, Rome (FCO) and Pisa (PSA) are both good alternatives.
From Florence Airport to Montestigliano
Montestigliano is located near Sovicille, about 1 hour from Florence Airport, in the Tuscan countryside outside Siena.
- By car (highly recommended): Renting a car is the easiest and most flexible option, and also the best way to explore Tuscany.
- By train + taxi: Train from Florence to Siena (≈1.5 hours), then taxi to the venue (≈20 minutes).
- By taxi or private transfer: Direct and comfortable, but more expensive.
